The Founders
Alicia Navarro
Co-Founder & Director of Programming
Alicia’s passion for nurturing and feeding the innate curiosity and excitement of every child drives her work as the Director of Programming at Free Range Imagination.
She earned her bachelor’ degree in bilingual/multicultural education from California State University, Chico and has over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages in formal and informal educational settings.
Arturo Navarro
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Guided by curiosity and love of learning, Arturo has acquired a wide variety of skills through the projects he’s taken on.
He entered the field of education later in life, receiving his teaching credentials in bilingual k-8 education, special ed and highschool civics from San Diego State University. He is responsible for the philosophical foundation of Free Range Imagination as well as many of the day-to-day administrative tasks.
